The Nigel De Jong Appreciation thread

Gonna have to change my lottery numbers now, as his squad number was one of them.

Knowing my luck I'll get 5 numbers with No.34 being the sixth! Do I dare change them?

I know he was getting less game time but still gutted he's gone. Him and Kompany were 2 of Hughes's best signings.

Bit gutted he's gone, loved watching him in his first 2 seasons but obviously not a big part of mancinis plans and he's got us this far so I'm trusting him.

Best of luck nige, hopefully we get to knock Milan out of the champs league at some point and give him a great reception.
 
At this stage of his career I think this is the right time to move.

Just read the OS story about NDJ and not so sure why the writer used such negative slant ..... thought it was a bit weird that's all
