I think though its probably time for us (the UK) to pack it in, the UK pay a lot of money into the competition each year to help keep it going and continually get no or low points no mater the song, blimey during the last one 2 years ago there was a pitch invasion during our song and our singer pretty much got assaulted, Time to quit I reckon.

Very rare the best song wins in Eurovision.Jesus...this thread turned quickly...
It's only a bit of fun ladies. Although the best actual song, the Belgian one, did fuck all.
I get annoyed with the semis because some of the songs in them are far better than the countries who don't have to qualify entries.

Might be an Italian (cultural) Catholic thing. Priests kiss altar boys in similar fashion.

We should enter songs in the spirit of Eurovision.
Our entry next year should be a Nigel Farage EU speech to a banging dance track.
No rules on the artist's country of origin.
Perhaps we should ask Israel to lend us Dana International?
Might be a bit too "woke" for some though.
