The official 2021 Eurovision thread

My daughter has loved it for years and we make a night of it, it's just a bit of fun and it's great that even her brother watches (lives away) it so they can banter back and forth.
Not making a case for or against it but certainly better fun than lots of crap on Saturday nights.
UK lad was not great but not the worse of them, everyone has an opinion but we would miss it in our house as we enjoy it.

I wondered why the lad had done so badly and realised he was the other brother, rather than the one who actually released a good song back in the day.

I think though its probably time for us (the UK) to pack it in, the UK pay a lot of money into the competition each year to help keep it going and continually get no or low points no mater the song, blimey during the last one 2 years ago there was a pitch invasion during our song and our singer pretty much got assaulted, Time to quit I reckon.
It's wank, but then they'd only make something as equally wank with the money if we left. Not sure it's that much dosh in reality but it is from the licence fee so some would say it's relevant.

Haven't watched it myself since around Buck's Fizz times but others seem to like subjecting themselves to hours (now days) of it so fair enough.
