We do have a partnership with Feyenoord, as well as NEC in Holland (where Abdi Ibrahim went on loan and flopped).
Feyenoord and City have no official partnership.

We have a talent agreement which is virtually the same thing, that's why we let them come and watch our reserves to pick who they want on loan next season.

Suarez would just end up on the bench at a Premier League club right now like the very talented Josh McEachran has at Swansea. PL managers seem less and less willing to risk very young players because there is so much pressure now. Even Baconface wouldn't give Morrison or Pogba any real first team chances and they are considered two of United's best academy talents since the Giggs/Beckham/Neville/Scholes era. Feyenoord is an excellent next step for him if the deal is done (apparently it could depend on some things like if Feyenoord manage to sign Bakkal permanently), it will be a good challenge and if he has a Guidetti-esque season then we can think of Premier League loans or even giving him more games for us.

By the way City have a new partner club in Portugal, Gil Vicente, that gives us another option for young players. They are a mid-table side in Portugal's top division and the experience for young City starlets of playing against Porto, Benfica, Sporting, and Braga would be very good.

Surprised you think Josh McEachran as a talent; the times i've seen him play in the flesh i've been very underwhelmed with him and I think Rodgers has been as well after seeing him on a daily basis & the physical argument for noy playing regularly does not hold up when you have a regular player like Leon Britton in your side.

Interesting to see Khaldoon praise Rekik and Suarez in the OS interview and he was adamant that he wants youth teamers in future first team plans.

In the reserve section of the programme from the qpr game Andy Welsh confirmed that u21 premiership league will start next season but the club will still carry on its loan system for players aged 19+, so I would have the thought the u18 team next season will be made up of 16 year olds and a few 17 year olds with our u21 team made up of 17,18 and a few 19 year old players while players like razak go out on loan.

Thought Sunday's amazing game was the end of the season at the Etihad Stadium? Think again!
City’s Elite Development side take on Manchester United's reserves in the Manchester Senior Cup final on Thursday, with a kick-off time 7pm.

The game will be streamed live on mcfc.co.uk, with coverage starting at kick-off.

The Blues came out on top when the two sides met in February, when goals from Bunn, Assulin, Elabdellaoui and Hiwula helped City to a 4-2 win.

Coach Andy Welsh has some exciting young talent to choose from, so why not come along and help cheer City on to some more silverware?

Tickets, priced at £5 for adults and £1 for concessions, are only available to buy in person at the ticket office, above the CityStore at the Etihad Stadium.

All tickets will be for unreserved seating.

If you can get down there to support the lads then please do.

Andy Welsh said in the post-match interview (on YouTube) that our NextGen group next season is PSG, Fenerbahce, and Juventus.
