The official EDS and academy thread 2012/13

I know this sounds too much "Football Manager" but I really think we should strengthen our "feeder club" links within England. Loaning players out to clubs where we can guarantee game time in my opinion would improve them more than playing in this EDS league. Having an agreed link with certain clubs ensures we can regularly send our players out on loan and can keep a close eye on their development. The whole 'B' team model in Spain is also a great way to develop kids and something along these lines should be implemented here.

Strange EDS team tonight, a mixture of U21s, U18s, and trialists with several notable absences. Ex-Blue Matt Mills playing for Bolton's reserves too.

nope won a penalty shootout after a 0-0, although I think it is still wrong as we should only have 2 points for a win on pens.

It'd be like old times if U21 games were streamed, watching us lose more than we win. :)
