Err... guys use your heads.
The youth team just played yesterday, that info is on this thread so its not like you can't look.
That being said, how do you expect Mancini to play them less than 24 hours later?
Anxious for your replies

Are you serious ? If Mancini want to pick up EDS player, they don't play game.

Why would Mancini pick an eds player to take a place on the bench against a team in the top half of the table? Especially when 2nd place is still up for grabs?
So, lets say Mancini picked an eds player today, will they have played?
Did you even watch the match?. It could have easily been a draw.
Thanks God you're not the manager

West Ham at the Etihad isn't a situation where we need Nasty,Kolo,Garcia and Kolarov on the bench for.

IF our finishing had been a bit better today/west ham not been as defensively great we would of had it settled with a lot of time to spare. So yeah in that situation an EDS player getting a debut, showing what he can do to perhaps show him off to potential suitors would be good yes.

Your point would of been better had it not been based entirely on hindsight, we should at least provide a situation in which an academy player can potentially get game time.

If I could rock a scarf like Mancini i'd certainly make a great manager ;)

Good win for the U18s today hopefully they can keep it up and top the group.

Like others have said, disappointed that no EDS player were on the bench today, surely its better to have a few promising players in the squad than say Kolo Toure who will be gone next season. With second place almost secure it would nice to see a Lopes or Ntcham on the bench.

I see what you're saying but I think its a bit disrespectful to 'bin off' players who are popular and have been good servants just because they are going in the summer. Sinclair yes, but not someone like Kolo who it would be nice to see play in the Norwich game

@viewfromablue
Rony Lopes scored twice for Portugal U19 today as they defeated Serbia U19 6-2 in the final of a national youth tournament.

Anyone any idea who the trialist is who scored twice for the U18s today?

http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Match-re...8s-Barclays-u18-Premier-League-13-April-2013?

Fisayo Adarabioyo.

Which is odd considering we apparently released him in 2011 where he then went on to sign professionally for Brum??

Edit.......

It seems Brum mutually agreed to end his contract last month which had 12 months to go...... Interesting?

Also his younger brother, the very highly rated Tosin,is in our academy and also played in this match.
