If Lopes carries on improving we have to put him in the first team and give him games, let's just take the risk, he could be like a new signing the more game time and confidence he gets, the lad has talent.

We only run the risk of losing him to Barca or someone like that, then our holistic approach is really going to look ridiuclous, we cannot afford to lose Denis Suarez and Marcos Lopes in two Summers.

City: 6x 18 4x 17 1x16 Bayern 5x 18 4x 17 2x 16. Barely any difference at all. The two best players on the pitch were Lopes & Byrne, who are both 17.

Aye, the whole "Bayern are younger" tosh was just spouted repeatedly by Stewart Robson, possibly the most miserable, unlikeable man in football (which is really saying something). I honestly don't know how he gets work, I've never met anyone who doesn't hate him.

Fantastic from the kids though, although Bayern were absolutely hopeless. The CSKA games could be really interesting, as they've destroyed the others aswell. It really is time to let Lopes play in the first team though, if we lose him then it would be one of the biggest mistakes we've ever made. Luckily, he seems a good egg, so hopefully won't be too impatient
