Jason Wilcox doing a terrific job, results have been great but more importantly the lads are improving all the time.
Couldn't agree more about his coaching. They started the season slowly but the improvement in the team has been phenomenal. They have won about 6 or 7 in a row now, and by decent margins as well.

I was impressed today. The team played with really good intensity, closing down/pressing very well and looked miles the better side. Angelino continues to impress and his cross was a beauty for the 2nd goal.Deep to the far post and superbly knocked in by Ambrose.

I liked what I saw of Ambrose today. He put a real shift in closing down the defenders but he has a real turn of pace and an excellent leap so add that to goals and you have a player. But the overall team performance is what it was all about today. A 4.1 win against a strong Everton side and their goal was a howler from our keeper dropping a corner.

Everton were clearly lifted by their goal to make it 2.1 and came out strong in the 2nd half. But I think strong is all it was really. They were a bigger more physically powerful side than City but we didn't let that phase us at all. Angelio at about 5 foot 2 was marking a winger like Peter Crouch, a total mismatch but there was only one winner apart from an out and out heading contest. Angelino was booked too for a little flick out but he took plenty of tough tackles and just got on with it.

Thanks Nelly. Out of curiosity what do you think of Boadu as a player. I know he wasn't wanted by the Gooners, but he seems to have really come on well under Wilcox.

I haven't seen him play enough to have a truly valid opinion s will have to leave that to others who will have seen more of him.Today he came on in the middle of the 2nd half and I felt found it hard to get the pace of the game.Got caught in possession a couple of times when he should have released the ball but he clearly has real talent. The way he took his goal was excellent.Taking the pass from Ambrose in the middle of the penalty box it looked like he feinted to shoot with hsi right but lost the defender as he brought it onto his left before slotting the ball into the top corner.Very classy.

My understanding is that Arsenal wanted to keep Boadu but he chose City.

I went last week and thought that Ambrose, Boadu and the City number 6 and right back looked to be the best players on view. If anyone can furnish me with the names of the last two if be grateful.

I think the right back was Pablo but the number 6 was very classy and always looked to have time on the ball.

The right back was probably Pablo Maffeo who is similar in stature to Angelino and maybe more defensively minded than the left back. Could the number 6 have been Byrne who fits the description of classy looking with time on the ball.Injured at the moment I think.

Wonder why the Under 18s are riding high in their league while the u21s are scraping around at the bottom? Is it just a difference in the relative quality of the players?

could have been Byrne but he is injured for a couple of weeks now i think, George Glendon has playing as no6 recently I think you could be on about him, lad picks a mean pass!
