I don't the new owners fall into that category and neither would they sack the manger 18 months into his tenure.
Oh yes your right they are in a totally new league when it comes to ownership and at least in part thats the issue, Hughes is not a top class manager(he might one day).

He has been given a target of a top six finish and anything else is a bonus.

So people need to rein in their expectations.

I have no doubt at all that they would sack a manager 18 months into his tenure if it was the right thing to do for their business. They'd be fools otherwise, and I don't think they're fools.

FWIW I don't think they will sack Hughes at least until the end of this season.

If we were in the bottom four then I think you would be right, but not in the real world.

Do you think right now that we are moving in the right direction(over the last 2 months), towards that goal?

Can anyone post up a link to an official communication by the club stating that a top 6 finish is his brief this year? Maybe there is one but i havn't seen it. All i kep hearing, especially from the players is that top 4 is the target?

I think we are making steady progress and there will peaks and troughs throughout the season.

seeing as we are playing worse now than we did at the start of the season, and indeed last year, where is the progress on the pitch exactly?

You really do, that's great I can't say I have seen anything like progress for nearly 2 years.

Interesting that even the 'Hughes In' option on the poll is worded 'you don't want Mark Hughes to be sacked right now.

People on this forum never fucking learn. Too many Blues baying for blood, when we should be sticking by the manager. It's as if the last 15-odd years never happened!

If we keep sacking the manager WE WILL WIN FUCK ALL.

Highly debatable and based on no facts whatsoever!

Keep appointing the wrong manager and we will win fuck all sounds more reasonable!
