I would rather city signed Snodgrass than him.

Firstly we shouldn't bid at all so united get as less a fee as possible.

Second he would just be another Adebayor

Third he looks like he has peaked due to his weight and playing style

Fourth he is Wayne Rooney, and not welcome.

Look it is not holier than thou to dislike a player for his rather seedy behaviour. When you ally that to the fact that many people actually think he is overrated then it is a no brainer that we can do better.

I am watching the Inter game and it struck me that we would be far better off chasing true world stars such as Sjneider ad Eto'o. Players who have done it consistently at the highest level and also look after themeselves physically.

Wesley has said he would like to play in Manchester. If we give United 40 million Sjneider may well end up at OT. Do we really want that?

No, what we really want is for them to shove it all Rooney proceeds into the black hole that is the Owe Trafford account book. And they will. Christ, Ronaldo moved over a year ago and still the £80 mill fee (which was paid in full) remains under the mattresses at the Glazer residence, unspent, except for a few quid spent on a bricklayer from Fulham's reserves and a homeless chappy who is gasher than gash.

Oh but wait! I keep forgetting. They've got Johnny Evans so they don't need to buy anyone at all.

You called Rooney gash last week before he was linked to us. So if Jonny Evans was suddenly linked to us would you up your opinion of him as well?
 
I hate him not only as a player but as a person. It would mean the end for Tevez, disruption in the club and a wage bill that would continue to escalate. No thanks.
 
why don't these posters who love rooney so much go post in the suck up thread instead where they belong and then they wouldn't be upset by the fact that so many people completely disagree with their view!

I am in two minds about this,he would make a powerful threesome(no pun intended) with Tev and Bal,we would be able to make a really strong substitution,as conditions permit,plus we could offload Crocky,Jo(ke),and Adebayawn,but on the minus side,do we want the granny/prossie shagging,boozing,smoking,cheating Arrogant Red Twat? Oh,and I forgot pissing in the street Arrogant Red Twat.....you can take the scouser out of Liverpool...etc...so i'm 50/50....LOL.
