The Pep 'Survivor List' (Senior and Junior (loanee) players)

Thankfully. I still can't understand why he does this and instantly gives the ball back to the opposition.

Yeah, he could roll it out to one of our strolling, half arsed full backs who will become immediately under pressure because they can't be arsed to turn out and move half the time. When the throw is on he normally makes it, that's why Sagna's great to have on the field - the only one with a brain to make an outlet most of the time.

Surprised so many people mention Silva. What exactly has Silva given Man City this season to warrant a stay? The only reason I see him staying is a Spanish fetish of Guardiola.

It's what he's given us full stop that warrants a stay - not a three month run of poor form.

nearly all the players given proper direction and a willingness to work hard and adapt could have a future, it's entirley up to them to prove they are worth keeping starting with spurs next week

Hart
zabba
Komps
clichy (as back up)
Otto (but only as back up)
Sagna
silva
Kelechi
Augero
Fernandihnio (just about)
nasri (possibly)
KDB
sterling

the rest simply aren't good enough and its telling to notice how many of those were here before Pellers - 4! (if you don't count kelechi as I'm not sure)

What have 90% of them?

To many playing football manager here. Pep won't sell 20 players and bring 20 in. Imo a couple of additions and the others will all be given 12 months to prove themselves.

I personally doubt he will release that many. Can see us bringing in 2 or 3 with him focusing on changing our outlook and playing style, without disrupting the core of the team too much. Maybe more players will come in during his second summer.

Isn't that the same as yaya tho?

I want him gone and believe he will be gone but if you're saying keep silva for what he has done for us yaya should stay if that's your thinking?
Yaya has been declining for 12/18 months and is struggling because time has caught up with him. A lot of the things he was great at are no longer part of his game bar the odd flash. He's also a couple of years older than Silva and his bulking frame which was for so long an asset has now become a liability.
I don't think Silva will have any of those problems because his game is different. His biggest problem is going to be getting his ankle back to 100% because it's patently obvious that he's not the same player carrying the injury.
