The positive thread.

Garcia last night reminded me a lot of Spanish Dave. If he even becomes half the player Dave is we've got an absolute gem here.

I agree. He was likened in another thread to being similar to Gundogan but I see a lot of Silva in how he plays, I bet he spends a lot of time learning from him
 
The positivity I feel is for the future. I know some people want instant success but over time and with some more signings I feel so confident about how our team will be playing in say about 6 months from now. We may or may not win trophies this year but I have no problem showing some patience if need be.
 
  • World class manager. Wouldn't swap him with anyone.
  • The best forward in the league by a country mile.
  • The best midfield in the league by a country mile. Lets not kid ourselves... the likes of Merlin, Kev, Gundogan and Fernandinho would walk into any of Pools/Arse/Spuds and Chelseas starting 11.
  • An abundance of talented youth that are being integrated into our first team, we're scarily good in this department, and that's before considering the fact that Brasil's number 9 is soon to bolster our ranks.
  • Top of the league.
 
Our manager has been in post four months and we are already two points off the lead in the PL and just whupped Barcelona.

Some people on BM need to get a grip.
 
We are a fine team that is getting better with some of the most demanding game tactics around. Our coach is the best that any club in any league could want with a setup that reflects our current standing in world football. We have more exciting top quality players to integrate and we are right in the mix in a very open title race, i love that.

I think we are only going to get stronger and we are doing it playing exciting attacking football the likes we never thought we would see, the business side of things looks very well run indeed and we have the allure for any top player. I still can't believe we will have had the best years from some genuine world class players to, Silva, Aguero, Zabba, kompany when they finally call it a day.

The club is only just getting started proper and any competition is welcome as it will make our victories even sweeter, there is not one team i really fear playing and over a season already think we are good enough with a pretty certain knowledge we will get quiet a bit better, i can't really ask for more as a fan tbh.
