He's still battling it out to the finish line. I won't be surprised if he doesn't make the start line tomorrow.Looks bad for Froome

Talk about barriers for the full route is fucking laughable
Approximately 1000 standard sized metal barriers to do both sides of a single km of course, plus padding and hay bails. To do a whole course would be crazy, and moving the barriers between stages would be a huge undertaking.Talk about barriers for the full route is fucking laughable
A fair few of those that took a tumble there will be feeling it in the knees on those climbs.
Agreed yep, intense is the word. Was reading earlier about the Jumbo documentary where Rog and Dumoulin were questioning Pog - I’d guess relations between the two Slovenians are that great! That finish was much harder than the profile suggested. Partially because it was raced so hard and a lack of control due to the crashes.
Pogacar and Roglic clearly thinking about GC rather than chase down Alaphilippe, who has little to no chance of GC. Wise as it's only stage 1. Have the feeling this Tour is going to be especially intense.

Is Alaphillipe a better time trialler than Pog or Rog? If he is, bearing mind there’s only is it 3 mountain summit finishes, maybe he might have some kind of a chance?? Wiggo saying he might do anyway.
