The guy who made the false prediction of the rapture is now a biblically defined false prophet, and true Christians are ordered to ignore him

Deuteronomy 18:22 "when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

The rapture refers to the way Christians will be taken out of the world by God before the antichrist arises. It comes from the latin 'raptus' meaning to snatch up, as God will snatch up Christians

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Jesus Himself said that no one knew the exact time this would happen

Matthew 24:36 -"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
