The Referee Decisions?

I thought I spotted a handball for us in 1st half, I was the only one around me shouting for it. Driven shot and defender turned sideways with arm out. Plenty of time to move it out of way. Not a big appeal but ref waved it away.

Also of the opinion east side ref was behind play. West side ref was flag happy all through game, not just in 2nd half. He gave aguero offside when he came back from an offside position after aguero let the arsenal player play the ball first.

They could have had them given......we would have only gone up the other end and banged a few more in ;-)

Wenger the horrible French twat on Arsenals website -

on his view of the penalty appeal being turned down…
I think we had three real offsides which were not turned down and the penalty turned down. The referee had a bad game.

on Jack Wilshere making a gesture to the Man City fans…
I didn't see that. I don't know if he did it. If he did it and he's banned we will have to accept it.

He sees what he wants to see & always will. They should have sacked him years ago. The ref was fair except for the yellows he showed.

The handball you're referring to I presume was one Flamini did in which case it didn't go near his arm and straight of his stomach/chest, that would explain why you were the only one appealing for it. Also, Aguero still moved towards the ball before the Arsenal player touched it which makes him active. I think Arsenal were unlucky with the decisions today but that was it, none of them were clear-cut and even if the ref was in their favour the scoreline would have remained in our favour.

ref was so bent

they were robbed and we wre handed a victory we did not deserve

hurts tbh

The only thing that annoys me about brandishing yellow cards is that most refs seem to do it for a player's first offence. Take Silva's booking as an example - Atkinson should have given the foul and had a word with David that his next rash tackle would be bookable.

You are so right about his whining. I don't know how many times I have heard the "I didn't see that' line!

What peed me off though was his post match "We have played teams as good as City ... Everton, Southampton". Give me a break!

The only thing I thought the ref got wrong today was the Kompany booking. It was just a foul, never a yellow.

Thought that was a fair decision. They were breaking fast in our half and Vinny took one for the team....Right in front of where I was sat/stood

he'd got away with another very similar block previously
