The Royals - the Commonwealth

So these people don't like the British because...... why?

Because they were taken as slaves a couple of hundred years ago....? Really?

There has always been loads of unpleasant shit going in the world and believe it or not there still is. It is absolutely pathetic in my opinion to continually bleat on about something that happened long ago, something for which no one today can be held to account for - is there a scouse gene in the make up?

If the feeling is so strong, lets cut them loose and take with it all the benefits they no doubt get through association.

I just tire of the continual bleatings from all and sundry about wrong doings that were done centuries ago. Today in 2022 we all know it was wrong but what the fuck can we do about it?

Well, you could start by giving reparations and then giving back all the treasures and entities stolen from countries that Britain invaded, the majority of which are still in British hands.
Like for instance the sculpture Lord Elgin stole (known as the Elgin Marbles) from Greece in 1803 the Greeks have been asking for them back since about 1925 but Britain refuses to return them.
Buck Palace and the British museum is stuffed with stuff nicked from colonial countries, you ask what we can do about it in this day and age ? well, it would be a good start to return all this shit to it's rightful owners.

Do you agree ?

Got to hand it to you.
You are so consistently obnoxiously uninformed it's a gift.

Hot on the heels of Barbados. Jamaica signals its "exit" from Monarchist controls. Can't help but think its recent decisions made that diminish us on the world stage that make the association with us as unattractive as separatists have been urging at home. I suspect if Australia moves to become a republic the house of cards could fall....

When it finally collapses I think it would be fitting to send the Royals to all the commonwealth realms to receive the same treatment Charlie got in Barbados.

And deduct the expenses from the pot left over to distribute to the family on abolition.

It’s just delusional to expect that these countries gain anything from having a representative from an out-of-touch inbred family as head of state.

In part yes, it's hard to argue against but what then? Is giving the the Elgin Marbles back to Greece going to change anything in the world today? I very much doubt it will - but who knows?

Do we know that everything we have was actually plundered or are there many gifts or legitimate trophies from battles won? I don't know, but in reality it is all totally meaningless in my opinion. I really couldn't give a fuck if artefacts taken years ago are returned and I suggest the majority of the public could either (both sides) because it ain't going to change the world is it? It is just a list of statements from history that in the whole scheme of things are meaningless to everybody today.
