So your point has moved from bigging up the ethnic cleansing of Crimean Tatars who've now been allowed to return and vote, to saying ethnic cleansing happens all the fucking time, get over it, and criticising me even though I acknowledge there can be no realistic hope of Israel agreeing to demographic suicide by allowing the return and votes of Palestinian refugees and their descendants... Yeah, well done for exposing MY hypocrisy AGAINST Israel in this instance.... I've conceded a position to Israel that I haven't in Crimea (the Tatars have returned and could have voted - it's just that they didn't bother because they knew they would be outvoted). If anything I'm being hypocritical in FAVOUR of Israel. In reality, it's just pragmatism. It would be great if there could be a secular Israel-Palestine or Palestine-Israel state but it can't happen until the wounds have healed and until it does the Jewish community of Israel need a gerrymandered Jewish majority to preserve a Jewish state. I'd rather there be no ethnic conflict at all and every state be secular. I am a strong secularist but again, that's just not reality.
