A SNP M.P. that's a seperatist, who'd have thought there was such a thing. Think she'd be very good leader, not sure sh'e standing though as they will want a MSP.

Although I don’t agree with every word it’s a good article and realistic assessment of her tenure. It’s sad to see how the polarisation by the right wing press has worked it’s poison on many that post here.

I can’t see a way through at present if I’m honest. Just got an email confirming my membership vote for the new leader. They have some task on their hands and I’m not convinced any of them will move us forward. Sturgeons approach of Independence by osmosis is the only way it will happen. The new leader will come under extreme pressure to go faster. Much faster. But faster where and how?

Her early Commons speeches were not great to my ears (not necessarily over independence)

She's also a full on socialist. As such a rare voice in our parliament now Starmer has ' cleaned up' labour. I think she is a socialist first separatist second.

Still reading even when not posting mate.
I had thought about taking a Sabbatical from the forum. I have at one time or another taken great interest in the political threads, the music threads, a few off topics and generally throw an opinion into the matchday threads, but I had sort of withdrawn for my own sanity.

These latest PL charges have drawn me back in however.

As I say I do always read the forum and the Scottish political thread is always of big interest to me.
