She is the real SNP. Just like their core support such as wee Shug fae Possil , whose tooth decay is down to Thatcher stealing ‘ ma mulk ‘.

She would have been better making that speech in some of the local hostelries, as that is where most of the MP's would have been judging by the actual attendance in the Commons.

Doesn't the leader of the SNP need to be in Scottish parliament? The first minister definitely does.

Looks like Kate Forbes has talked herself out of a job. It seems from the start that the media would use her words in a certain way. She has every right to talk honestly about her faith and beliefs. It isn’t going to play well with a proportion of party activists.

Personally wouldn't feel that comfortable with someone with her views as First Minister.

Also, it's one thing to say you have those personal views, it's another to say you would vote against specific legislation because of them.

I agree to an extent. When you actually look at what she has said it is quite nuanced. Our press don’t do nuance though and if she had clearly stated her faith wouldn’t get in the way of voting for what was best for the country that would probably have been enough. As it is I think she is screwed which means it’s Humza.
imo he is weak and hasn’t done himself any favours with his procrastination over nurses pay and overall performance with NHS Scotland.
