Looks like womans football is on the up, there are some fantastic woman players about too.

It would look that way, Barclays to sponsor the WSL with 3 year partnership for £10m ( lot for grass roots by the sounds of it), and for the first time £500k prize money.

If the FA want the WSL to become the biggest league in europe, then they need to either drop the salary cap, or substantially increase it, so we don't lose the best players to Lyon and Barcelona.

Wow the BBC managed to do a whole report on the new sponsorship for women's football, and managed to cut the words Manchester city woman out of all of it apart from England captain Steph Houghton . So let's do a piece on club football but don't mention what club she plays for !
