The show us your cat thread.

My brother’s cat Leon died this weekend, he had cancer and it was an aggressive tumour, and the vet made it clear there was no hope for him, so he had to be put down. I went the vet with them and it made me a bit weepy, because he was a lovely boy. He was a bit quiet when I came over but I petted him and he was soon chatting away. And he complained all the way to the vet. My brother is pretty calm about it, he’s sad but at least Leon died peacefully, with his owner at his side.
I had to have my 21 yr old cat put to sleep, i held her and she pissed on me , makes me smile now after 11 yrs

That is a very cat way of signing off. A proper cat to the end.
She was a bit mad that one, didnt surprise me i copped for the wee , i was holding her tight and singing her song that i used to sing to her every day , i would sing a line and stop and she would miaow all the way through , still miss her despite having silva(rip, hit by a car at seven yrs old) and now merlin , 21 yrs is a long old time to have a pet of any description , took me a year to get over her and get silva, she wouldnt tolerate other cats , so many fights over the yrs so not sure what she would make of having silva in her house

Pets eh

Our little cat Elsie otherwise known as Eddie .
Sadly and suddenly died last night.
She was absolutely fine.
Went out for a bit.
Came in made some horrible screaming noise.
Spinning round obviously in pain.
By the time my misses rang the vet she had died.
She was only 9 .
Very sad and very hard thing to see.
Lovely little cat
