Breaking Bad slightly pips it for me, howver Sopranos was bloody epic.
For me ranking tv shows seems a bit pointless . For me its either good or bad.
IMO there have been stacks of good tv dhows ie
Homeland,
24,
Justified,
The Shield ,
The West Wing and a load of comedies.
But as to The Sopranos think it was very good

It`s the best, Watch it.
Stick with it. Just gets better and betterjust finished Sons of Anarchy and getting into the Sopranos. Early doors but liking it so far.

Can only echo some of the comments already made. The Sopranos is quality. Much, much better than that shite breaking bad that most seem to rave about.
The wire is also very good.
I also enjoyed watching The Shield. It was a bit American tough guy but if you get over that aspect it's a really good boxset and worthy of a watch

Is it as good as everyone says? Really want to watch it but something, I'd not know what, is putting me off.
It's the reason telly was invented.
