Yeah Bergvall is a good player. They actually have a few. Archie Gray has really impressed me this year.

I'm the same.

The BACK patio needs a complete rebuild. Four old ,tired conifers need to be replaced.
The middle lawn area has a tree that was Injured in the storms,and hopefully will be back next summer.
Out front the central lawn looks strong just signed a new care contract for the next10 years. Out wide the borders are young,but showing potential, just needs better finishing products.
I have bought a couple of young species from Sourh America, so hope they can settle, they don't relish the cold and wet.
One looks "under weight" and may need a nursery for a season.
All in all, quite promising, looks rosy.

Maybe, but with de Bruyne and Gundogan likely to leave, I wouldn't be surprised if Kovacic and Bernardo are both still here come August.

Why does Lewis always cop so much stick?

He’s a really good player and just 20 years old. His form this season has been poor but he’s doing nothing most of the more senior players aren’t also doing.

Ederson, Akanji, Dias, Bernardo, Foden, Grealish and de Bruyne have all failed to perform against top opposition (some have failed to perform against any opposition) this season yet none of them were mentioned.

That being said I agree with your overall point, players like Kovačić, Nunes and Gündoğan (in his current form) need upgrading.

I do feel a bit for Lewis
The point I’m making is we should have two senior full backs who can play before Rico
Rico is a decent player who could be a good squad player but no way should he or Nunes be starting against Real Madrid or Liverpool

The point was more about balance, quality and depth of the squad
Transfer wise the midfield players we have bought ie kovacic, Nunes, gundogan, Phillips are the issue
Along with no creativity or full backs

No, if only those 2 went, then their places would be taken by Echeverri and Reis, presuming we register them. For the CL squad anyway.

They would leave 2 spaces in the homegrown list, but my opinion is it would be very unlikely that we leave players like that out of a champions league squad. In fact think its very unlikely we register different squads for CL nad Pl.

I agree it’s unusual and not something we’ve done, but I just wondered if it’s a possibility. With Stones and Ake increasingly unreliable, in terms of their health, unless their representatives agree to find them new homes, we may have to be creative and find a novel solution.

I don't think we do really.Taking Walker, Phillips Gundogan and KDB out as our starting point. Then if Ederson goes replace him, Nunes out a Full back in, and replace either Kovacic or Bernardo with a midfielder, replace Grealish with a home grown midfielder and think we'd be done.

I can see the logic but I just don’t see six players leaving in one summer, evolution rather than revolution. I imagine we’ll have a fair idea who’s leaving before the final home game.

So basically beside Walker no one on the defensive side will leave. I can see us already not going for Huijsen because Pep doesn’t wanna give up all his guys. Hopefully Viana says something else.
