Who do we think are the non-homegrown players most likely to leave out of these (in addition to Kevin)?

Akanji
Nunes
Kovacic
Bernardo
Gundogan
Doku
Savinho
Reis (loan)
Echeverri (loan)
Khusanov (loan)

Be realistic though, not just wishful thinking. I assume Dias, Gvardiol, Nico, Rodri, Marmoush and Haaland are safe.

Clubs will loan us players for this competition to put them in the shop window, Osimhen for example has a value that is dropping, winning this comp would raise his value again. Lamptey is out of contract, and this comp is going to be very hot cynical and fast, having a full squad that can cope is going to be important.
Sesko is a striker and Pep only plays with one, but that is a tactic that has failed, like it or not every team knows to defend deep and catch City on the break, no matter how many Wirtz we buy they will just run into a brick wall like Foden. We have to break the cycle.

Bournemouth, Brighton and Leipzig will loan us the players, as it is a loan to buy at full price, Frimpong could be loaned as his club will want to remind other clubs of his value.

Phillips both not on the homegrown list so need to go
KDB gone

Don't think anyone else would go this summer.

Oh so you mean we're going to pull together a ragtag band of loanees to learn our playing style and play in one specific tournament?

Our squad planning is fucked because most of players were gonna need to replace have to be homegrown. Which means first finding someone suitable and second paying the fortune it will take to buy them

No they don’t, in fact theres a very good chance the only home grown players to replace are Grealish and Carson.
 
Did I imagine pep saying last week that we will need to buy a left back because young nico isn't a left back?

We are surely going to need a right back too so that's 2 players needed at least before we start looking at replacing the old guard

Yes Nico Williams is getting that much. Bilbao doesn’t buy mostly produce. That was the salary that was going around in Spain and also the reason why he isn’t moving since no one wants to pay that
 
fanatic player would be unwise to turn this chance down but likely its just negotiation tactic to get better contract
