Yeah fully agree.
But unfortunately every single gig is like this now. Whether it's at the arena, stadium, or the academy.
Classic example:
I first saw catfish and the bottlemen a few years ago for £6 in front of about 50 people.
This past Tuesday and Wednesday tickets were going for £150!
These websites GetMeIn, Viagogo, Stubhub are equally as guilty.
Proper fucks me off.
It's stopping proper fans getting tickets for people to make money.
3,4,5x above face value is just ridiculous.

The gig at HP was wank anyway. full of pissed up jeremy kyle scrotes who weren't even assed about the music, just there for the drugs and drink.

I read somewhere a while back that the touts have special software that can access the ticket websites quicker than the average bod who has to wait ages in a queue. Not sure whether that's true but it would explain why they end up with so many for the big gigs. What's even worse than the average tout getting hold of them is the legalised touting that goes on on sites like Ticketmaster. Their "Get Me In" website is showing over 1000 available for the Sunday and every fucking one of them is above face value.
 
How do touts get loads of tickets when websites set a limit of around 6 tickets per customer?
