The Stone Roses/Ian Brown

Saw them on their first comeback gig at Heaton Park I think it was. They were good, the night was good, but my god it was expensive. Cant afford more, will have to wait for IB to do some more stuff himself I miss his concerts

i was shit faced on the friday night and missed most of the gig being in "a semi concious state somewhere near the portaloos" (according to my mates).....i had to go again on the saturday to see what i missed ;)

Probably slipped under the radar with most people watching Glastonbury but Brown announced that tonight's Roses gig at Hampden was the last one ever.

It's doing the rounds on Twitter a quote along the lines of "Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened" by Ian Brown.

I saw them at Heaton Park and twice last year at our ground and I'm happy for that - couldn't be arsed with Wembley last week.

I think them calling it a day again will help their "legacy".........and the tribute acts will carry it on and are good value for money too if anybody needs their Roses fix

On the other hand.......
