15 months for detrimentally affecting the lives of 14 people is a fucking piss take. I hope the victims appeal the sentence.
Agreed it is time to test this so called new power of the CPS to appeal unduly light sentences. 14 months will undoubtedly lead to 7 months in a cushy open prison somewhere.

Is there anyway we can contact the CPS to tell them it is a joke, and will it make any difference?

-- Mon Jun 17, 2013 2:08 pm --

i hope they rape his savings aswell

It will probably all be in his wife's name by now :(

As much as I disagree with the short sentence, I'd like to raise two points.

1. Had Stuart Hall been sentenced to, say, 10 years in prison for his crimes, would he have lived to see the end of it?

2. Aren't sentences more about rehabilitation than punishment? The second Stuart Hall leaves those prison walls he'll be under constant surveillance from the Police. A man of 83 years of age under constant surveillance isn't what I would call an active threat to the public. He'll remain under house arrest until the day he dies, won't he?

Joke of a sentence though I doubt he'll ever really enjoy any sort of freedom ever again. He'll be abused everywhere he goes. Not much of a deterrent though. It seems you can be locked up for longer for growing weed than you can for the abuse of children.

Young Bob, if you committed a crime, would you expect punishment?

Doesn't matter how long ago it was or how old he is now, he's ruined peoples lives and 15 months is a disgrace of a sentence.

Fuck him being 83, fuck him if he did die in jail. You do the crime and you should do the time.

100% correct, how many years have his victims suffered?
Fuck him, i hope he dies in the next 8 months he is inside.

WTF does this mean ''A further three charges of indecent assault and one of RAPE have been left to lie on the court file''

so i take it there are a further four offences that the cps have not recomended although found guilty and charged with 15 offences today it is more than likely he is guilty of rape but not man enough to come clean and take his medicine, that totals 19 offences and could go up even further with the ones not reported and he gets 15 months
