If the CPS aren't happy with this unduly lenient sentence they can go to the court of appeal and ask for it to be increased. Not heard what the CPS have had to say about it yet though.

This is exactly right. The two lads from Northwich spring to mind, who twittered a location to start riots. They got 3 years minimum for that, despite the actual threat of riots not even taking place, it was just kids putting nonsense on twitter.

So to sum up:

Teens putting nonsense on twitter = 3 years minimum

A Paedophile who has molested, amongst others, a 9 year old child = 15 months, out in half.

A classic display of the 'great' british justice system.

Tragic day for the victims. He never has to work again and will be very comfortable. I used to love his commentary and rants on matches via the radio and on the way home after a match....
