I've read a lot of QAnon and Trump stuff over the last few years. Looking at how delusional some people can be, what narratives they create in order to fit things neatly into their emotional understanding.

This "4D chess" thing is exactly that. City wanted to join the Super League and actually, the Mid Eastern oil shiekh owner didn't grow up with pictures of Trevor Francis in his wall. Neither are the executives political masterminds who can intricately plan every move and outcome like they're a genius in a badly written movie. They're just fallible men who want to raise the revenue of the business that they run.

I thought this would have smashed the fantasy world some live in with our owner. Instead it seems some are doubling down on fantasy instead of facing reality.

Fair play to Gary Neville in all this. Always a busy **** but seemingly one with principles.
Fuck that rat faced ****.
I posted this yesterday and it still stands..
Where was Nevilles outrage when all this began?
I’m not talking about the super league.
This has been building from the start of the formation of the premier league, la liga the same.
Those teams have become superpowers with the backing of UEFA, the premier league, the fa, la liga, Sky and BT.
The high transfer fees set by them, the high wages set by them.
His club.
Where was his outrage then?
Nowhere, cos he was quite happy to except their wages, continue to win trophy after trophy and sit at the top of the table and fuck everyone else.
Funny how we’ve only recently heard their outrage since their teams no longer have the monopoly on the league.
I’ve no problem with what he said, if it’d been 10-15 years ago.

He did, but what’s the problem with it? He’s no doubt living a better life in the states. You can’t even compare James Cordons work to a group of greedy Americans that have tried to single handedly ruin English football.
Whats the problem with billionare football club owners wanting to make money and have a better life then? same argument at different pay levels.

Its all the same shite mate. Corden went for the pay day, good luck to him and plenty would do the same.
