Think people need to realise this isn’t a ‘new attack’ it’s the same investigation that was opened in 2018 along with the UEFA one, the fact it’s been allowed to drag out this long shows the PL apathy towards it imo, something they clearly don’t want to deal with considering the CAS verdict and fall out last year.

Clearly they asked for all documentation relating to the case in August 2019 before the CAS case which City objected to (to my knowledge City provided this to CAS and it was used to prove no wrong going, we did NOT provide it to UEFA for obvious reasons, these obviously include sensitive third party info) the courts have ordered we are to provide this information to the PL which I’m sure we have now. This whole court appeal was about keeping matters private & out of the public view.

Given UK law on limitations (6 Yrs) and the fact the alleged offensives fell out of the PL’s FFP regulations even starting, I’m intrigued as to where this can realistically go. If we are found ‘guilty’ & accused of falsifying accounts, it will be a high bar to prove legally as stated by Stefan.
You shouldn’t be posting stuff like this does fit the narrative for the flappers

It’s almost as if the press know we’ve got something big coming up on the horizon. A couple of stellar signings maybe…

Excellent post... the fact that the proceedings are stalled and unlikely to move forward is irrelevant to those in the media and in the corridors of power who will use anything to discredit us... its getting tiresome.

What is clear is that someone from the PL hierarchy has given Javier Tebas a steer in advance of this information being released. He made those loaded comments about City and the CAS legal action suggesting "it's not over" a couple of weeks ago. He couldn't have got it from City's lawyers or the judge. So someone in a senior position at the PL has leaked it, probably to one of our commercial rivals, who has then briefed Tebas. That tells you a lot. I don't believe in co-incidences.
This should be investigated!

I think you are right, it promises so much but at a probably deliberate snails pace. Just the thing to give credibility to further lies and inferences from the usual sources.
