Yes it fucking does. Nobody cares about the trophies the club might win. It’s a dead season now. The club is telling us clearly that they don’t care about us. There’s no ambiguity here, they simply do not care for anything other than money. And you don’t think that changes anything? After all the fans have been through, defending City every single day against the sniping, the agenda, the people trying to bring the club to its knees, you think getting into bed with those very people, becoming one of them... changes nothing? those 3 trophies mean fuck all. They've just signed them away. they've basically said 90 of the 96 clubs they compete with domestically aren't worth a fuck and they're better. Any results against any outside of the 6 are meaningless.

They are "elite"

Its all good and well that these other clubs have come out and said they have refused to join this ESL - because at the moment it isn't up and running.

If it goes through and after just one season of it running they get wind of the huge vast revenues the included clubs are pocketing then these clubs will change their tune and will be fighting to get in

Not UEFA it was the European Clubs Association (or something similar).

One thing I haven’t seen IN OFFICIAL PRINT, is any statement that this elite league will replace any other competition. They have stated they will continue in domestic competitions, but is this an alternative to CL ?

To my understanding, those in ESL won't play in CL, those in CL won't play in ESL.

ESL is closed competition. Alternative to CL? Probably, but not really.
