It made me laugh and a little bit sad when Andy Hinchcliffe just said what a big game this is tonight for the league. Of course they can’t.

But it should still be made up of a majority of Champions. Top 16 nations should see their Champions automatically qualify. Then other 16 should be filled with 12 runners up from top 12 countries. And 4 spots from smaller leagues through a qualifying route.

5 teams from the one country in a competition that was designed for champions is an insult to all of these other clubs missing out.

That would mean you would lose out on the better teams from these better leagues. 4th from the Premier league also goes through a qualifying round, which they normally win.
You would basically miss out on Atletico/Chelsea/Rags/Monaco/Napoli who would 9/10 times beat most of the other teams. It would be a very weak competition.

Absolute shower of sh*te, the whole thing, want nothing to do with it, feel the owners have made their first really big balls-up here, massive publicity own-goal of Dunny proportions, scrap that, Pollock-like proportions. If allowed to go ahead it will be the ruination of our club. Well done to those Leeds fans tonight. That needs to happen up and down the country and in Spain and Italy at every game involving these 12 from now on. The players won't be taking it personal, they know that we know its not them, it's not aimed at them but it's simply the best way of letting our feelings be known.

Fans of the 12 clubs as well, fans need to unite on this. No need to be partisan, us vs the 6 greedy bastards.
