Ain’t these apologies hollow ????? I really don’t know the ins and out but if City hadn’t have bailed last night then the rest would have still carried in wouldn’t they ?????
I definitely think so, they would of stuck to their guns, no way was anybody moving the Yanks they were dead set on this.

Pretty much nail on the head there with the timing of it I think...

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we see at least one of these ESL driving forces come close to (or actually do) go the wall before next season starts - Barca would be my bet.

Nah there will be funding somehow even if it ends up being a bloody Kickstarter project

He is though.
The difference between our owner and that wanker is ours isn’t a money grabbing twat, he’s done so much good, not just for the club but for Manchester.
This was the first real major mistake he’d made since the takeover and that’s why we’re not trying to drive him out of the club.
Everyone makes mistakes, some can be unforgivable.
But for me up until a few days ago the club was perfectly run and fans were always respected.
Unlike Henry, Glazers and Kroenke etc.. who only care about money.
Which makes it all the more bizarre why a businessman of his undoubted experienced decided to jump in with the Red Shirts and risk tarnishing all of the good work done with the club/community across the last 10+ years. 100% people make mistakes and absolutely no way would I be calling for him to leave.
I will ultimately forgive the owners/execs for the crap they've put us through but the last few days have left a sour taste.

That's why they are still in there ... desperate

They've done a lot of things right but let's not try and claim this club under the current ownership has never put a foot wrong before this with regards to the way the fans have been treated. From fans being booted out of the North Stand at just a few weeks notice back in 2010 to make way for a family stand, to fans being booted out of seats they've held for years to make way for some poncey Tunnel Club, to fans now being booted out of their seats to make way for fancy new LED advertising, to season ticket price increases in 10 out of the last 11 seasons, to introducing a tiered system that involved effectively buying loyalty points by virtue of paying extra for Platinum. Oh, and don't get me started on fans being banned from the stadium by that twat McGrath based on evidence that is flimsy at best and non-existent at worst with no right to appeal, so they've actually got plenty of things wrong. Now I'm sure that none of those were signed off by Mansour himself or perhaps even Khaldoon, but they've all happened on their watch.
Correct. Whilst i shall thank them eternally for making my dreams come true they have never really got that Citys support is very much working class

They are a business too.
And the balance overall as been pretty good.
You say booted out, moved more like.
There’s loads of little things we could pick up on, cheesy match day experience etc
But as a business they’ve tried to improve revenue without pricing fans out of the game, moving fans was part of that.
I’d say the balance overall as been very good, considering what we’ve spent on and off the pitch.
I say that as a season ticket holder who is getting close to be priced out of the game.
Not City’s fault, more mine.

Barca and Real always seem to get through. Could be Spurs. Aren't they struggling to fund Maureen's pay-off?

you don't think they've done anything wrong?
I think they’ve done plenty that’s wrong but didn’t break any rules (at the stage upon which they pulled out). It’s like your Mrs arranging an elicit night away with a love rival and owning up to it and cancelling. They’ve not technically cheated but your trust in them is hugely diminished.

It is bizarre, regardless of the reasons for doing it.

Dipper Melissa Reddy counting the number of words in each club statement, and proudly putting the Dippers in first place and Man City last, and promoting it as some kind of victory.
What about if words with the letter Q counted double?

Add all those little things up. It's easy to sweep it under the carpet if you've not been on the receiving end of most of them. They could've still grown the club without alienating some of the fans the way they did. Of course, these gripes come and go but I just take umbrage with the notion that before this they've never put a wrong in terms of respecting the fans as that's clearly bollocks.

What loyalty were we shown over the last 18 months? Premier League teams wanted us thrown out of the CL, heavily fined & docked points.

European teams wanted us thrown out of the CL & heavily fined.

UEFA/G14 tried threw us out of the CL, & heavily fined us.

Why should we show any of them a shred of loyalty, when none showed us any, or any compassion or understanding with our plight?

An offer was made to include us in this new project, just as it was in 1991 when the Football League four broke away to form the PL. Did you complain when City jumped ship & joined the PL? What would you have said if we refused, stuck to our principles & refused promotion from the Football League? What's the difference between the breakaway PL & the breakaway ESL? There's none that I can see.

City explored the opportunity, expressed cautionary interest, & then decided against it, so as I said, no harm done & it's as you were ladies & gents. We can't leave the Football League & join the PL, then complain that City considered leaving the CL & joining the ESL without seeming two faced can we?

After the way PL teams, CL teams & UEFA/G14 have targeted us the last 12 years, the lot of em can go get fucked as far as I'm concerned. They never gave a shit about City, & actively tried everything in their power to halt us challenging football's elite, so tell me why we should be getting all pious today, & giving a shit about the very teams & organisations who wanted to neuter us?
Only team I give a fuck about is City

And this Shite idea ripped the fucking heart out of me because of City

We were joining a bunch of fucking bandits who tried and would have still tried in lubing us up

Don’t give a shit about the other clubs but do give a shit about fairness

Left a big stain this saga with a lot of fans and will take time to fade
