I've been saying this since the announcmeent, the alternative that has been presented by UEFA is a fucking pisstake. It's just total 'staus quo' bollocks.

It is a ESL. The Champions League is a Trojan's horse to a full blown ESL but Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd want it now. And of course our execs would rather be in it than out of it.

But political reaction means its not happening. So now we have to distance ourselves as fast as possible.

It is imo unthinkable that we continue with this plan. When Man Utd and Liverpool attacked Citythrough UEFA, City had the fans behind them. There was an indignant rage. But if City go ahead with this then they are idiots and they will not be defended by any City fan.
