Ridiculous optimism for the Dippers from Woodgate - "this could be a valuable point".

Not - "This is 2 points dropped and a big blow to Liverpool's title hopes".
 
We do have 1 game cushion so if that Wolves game is slippery slope we can afford a draw though now we need to go for kill. Not easy to forget Madrid game but we need to move on. Also we need to up our GD and keep a cushion there as well
 
That was a good boost ahead of Newcastle after the Madrid game. A late Liverpool goal and the momentum would have carried on.

A minor safety net but 4 wins is the aim. Starting tomorrow.
 
Hopefully the boost we needed to take out the frustrationa on Newcastle. A good win tomorrow and even a loss in another game may not be fatal, but it would be nice to get to the last game with pressure mainly off

I thought at the time that point was going to be crucial, let’s hope it isn’t.

Such a relief knowing we don’t have to win every game. I wouldn’t mind a good victory tomorrow to boost our goal difference just to give us that extra cushion.
 
Son was first class, he really takes the time to think about what to do next when he’s on the ball.
