We’ve probably bottled the title too truth be told
Losing the lead we had in january
Playing the scum off the park twice and failing to beat them once

just not our year

roll on October for a simple 2-0 home win against Bournemouth when our hopes r up again
The lead was never that big it was only made that way out by the media .........Liverpool had games in hand which they never tell you about ......... I mean the way they go on about it you would think you had a 13 point lead on the same amount of games ........... Fook the media just go out and win your last 4 games and keep the scouse rats PL trophy parade back in its box

If we win the league they will still push the narrative that if Liverpool win the UCL it is a far greater achievement even though they have had a piss easy run

When players are considering signing fir anyone they all say “I want to play champions league”Beware what you wish for” now they can see the pressure and nerves that comes with playing C L and it’s consequences.one thing to want to play, another to have the Bottle required.

I think the quote “how can you be European Champions if you are not Champions of England” fixes that

To be fair, if we win the league by 1 point and they win a treble, they have made a bigger achievement.

If they win the league too and get the quad, then we don’t have any argument against them having eclipsed the centurions/fourmidables. They will have done.

That’s what’s on the line. I would give anything for City to win the league and Madrid to win the CL, but it just feels like everything is aligning for them. The unthinkable is becoming a reality.

If Liverpool do win the lot well there is not much you can say but fair do’s. Other teams in the league would need to start growing a pair against them. United fans for example are all begging city to stop them winning the league. Why they fuck did your team roll over and not try and take points? It’s not up to city to stop the scouse team.

We are hated by all it seems so fuck them. If dippers do win it’s not because of city but rather every other team who pulls down it’s pants and say he you go!

Liverpool have had a full squad all season.
Aside from the players they lost during African cup of nations? Alexander Arnold being injured for periods of the season along with jota and firmino Etc. Sorry mate but that’s complete bullshit.

Liverpool have been brilliant and there is no point trying to down play it with complete bollocks to make yourself feel better. Just hope we can at least win the league

3 points Sunday. Newcastle aren’t anything to worry about.

I have not paid much attention to Wolves this season, but 3 points I’d expect there.

Hopefully West Ham progress and all their attention is on that.

Villa home, nothing less than 3 points.

We’ll do this. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Spurs get a draw v scouse at weekend.

What I’d pay for Kane & Son to show up at the weekend, we need a pick me up.

The players need to take a day to get over the final and then look back on their celebrations from winning the league last season. They need to taste that glory again. A really bitter pill to swallow but focus now is on still being top on Sunday night.

Plenty will have felt the pace of last night with ET on top. But we start again 0-0 and at home and no better way to recover than the fans singing their names and us taking the 3pts.

Liverpool have had a full squad all season.
This isn't true, though, is it?

Firmino's been missing for weeks, Jota's been on and off recently, Alexander-Arnold & Thiago have missed about 10 games through various injuries, Fabinho's missed a few games here and there, Salah and Mane both went to AFCON, Harvey Elliot broke his leg. They just have a bigger, deeper squad to cope.

And if you go back to last season I'd say Liverpool are owed a bit of good karma with regards to injuries. They had Van Dijk crocked before the season got going, Matip & Gomez were missing for ages, Keita & Jota missed half the season. I think they ended up playing 20+ different combinations at CB in 38 PL games.

It was never that big of course, but still, an 8 or 7 point lead or whatever it was (if Liverpool won their games in hand) when they were in a bit of a poor run of form around Christmas and New Year and Salah and Mane were heading away to AFCON.
It was a sizeable lead.

Just got to win every game, no let ups at all, and we’ve got to fucking get behind them, they need us!

I wish we'd have played Newcastle before, we've just had our arses slapped and they've got the bit between their teeth. Gotta luv footie ....
None of the 4 teams we have to play are any good.

Newcastle were on a great run against dump teams but as soon as they played someone good, they looked like they had never played the game before.

Wolves are average all over the pitch and without the pace of Traore they really shouldn't trouble us as much on the break.

West Ham are just a Moyes team, very dogged. I don't buy into this belief that they have become a top team. They are currently the best, of what is a bunch of about 10 clubs that could trade places any given season.

Villa like Wolves are very average all over the pitch.

All the hard work has been done throughout the season and I honestly don't believe we could realistically expect a much easier run-in than what we have. If we don't get the job done, it is squarely on us.

I realise all of that but that means nothing in the final run up, we've seen it before....pressure's on for us, last night may affect players, Liverpool seemingly cleaning up all in front. I hope you're right but in the meanwhile I'm going to take up supporting cricket, whatever that is....
