On the one hand, going out probably helps given their squad size. It doesn't bode well for next season, however, given their aim is CL football.
On the other, they've picked up more injuries, they're beginning to struggle keeping clean sheets, and it puts an awful lot of pressure on the league (as if they didn't need any more of that).
In pure football cliche, we just have to trust our own process, stay in as many competitions for as long as we can, and keep them honest. There's a lot of football left to play, but it feels to me like we are creaking into something like confidence and top gear. By my reckoning we can at most afford to drop points in one more game, as long as it's not Arsenal, and still be there or there abouts.
