This “they haven’t been in this situation” thing is a bit of wishful thinking. It didn’t stop us in 2012 or Leicester City. I don’t disagree that we could do it, however they have a clear run of 9 games and I think we will will beat them at the Etihad and win our remaining games; that leaves Anfield as the key. If we pull it off it will be a great title win but if we don’t the gunners deserve it.
It’s not really. It’s difficult to win it for the first time in a long time. It’s why we didn’t win it for 44 years, Arsenal haven’t won it for x years, and Leicester never won it. These are exceptions to the rule. Then teams run up sequences. You’re right though, if they win it they deserve it.

Just hoping we don't regret going for a couple more goals in the last 15mins today although I did enjoy us just toying with them tbh. Goal difference is quite close now.
If we manage to get 8 more points than they get in the remaining games then we'll probably have a better goal difference than them. Not guaranteed of course but likely.

Correct. Especially as it will most likely mean that we win when we play them and (for example) a two goal winning margin then would mean a swing of four in goal difference.

I'll be more confident if it was back in our hands.

Just need them to lose one.
I did think anfield would be the one, but on yesterday's showing I'm not sure. Arteta astute enough to copy peps tactics, assuming his players are good enough to put it into practice.

Think if arsenal beat Liverpool next week they win the league.
Liverpool have a good home record and only lost 1 this season.
However, Liverpool have a potentially hard game midweek away at Chelsea while arsenal have 8 days between games.

Bit of a donkey derby Che v Liv midweek, not one for the purists, two floundering fish in a massive pond fighting it out for europa football

Win our game in hand Arsenal draw with Liverpool we then beat them and go top of the league easy as that

Unfortunately not.
They play the weekend we have the semi so they would need to lose another game too go us to go top by beating them.

It’s got to the point for me where if arsenal win next week at anfield then I just go fair play it’s probably your year. We can’t win it every year and the fact we are still challenging after winning 4 of the last 5 is just incredible.
