Arsenal will beat Liverpool. Liverpool are abysmal and Klipperty has lost the plot. Can’t see who is going to take points off Arsenal. Apart from us that is. Shame we spunked away stupid points against Everton and Brentford.
Dropping unexpected points is a thing that invariably happens during the season to every team that’s contending. Arsenal fans will be saying exactly the same thing about the points they tossed away against Southampton and Everton - but fans tend to have selective memories and only remember the games involving their own team!

It would be a true miracle if we win the league. Simply because our fixturelist is piling up and might even get worse if we progress in the CL and FAcup. I find it incredible we won’t have a game this week tbh.

We’ve done it before. But not vs a team that has only the league to play for. Pep is right. Game by game. So next Southampton. Too many games and probably a few twitches on the way to whatever ending.

Think if arsenal beat Liverpool next week they win the league.
Liverpool have a good home record and only lost 1 this season.
However, Liverpool have a potentially hard game midweek away at Chelsea while arsenal have 8 days between games.
Potentially hard game away at Chelsea? Like Aston Villa yesterday? Liverpool will beat Chelsea employing the he same tactics they tried against us yesterday, the difference is we can score numerous goals and the West Londoners can’t hit a cow’s backside with a banjo. I agree though that the Anfield match is key to our title hopes.

The point we are competing against a team which only has the league to play for is important. If Arsenal had qualified for the champions league last season I don’t think they would be in as strong a position going into this final run-in.

Given how we played yesterday, from being very doubtful indeed, I now think it's on again. It'll be a long shot, but it's on. We were brilliant. Everyone was up for it, everyone was one their game. Our best match of the season, by some way (maybe our away win at the Emirates is up there rivalling it, too).
We may just be on one of those rolls we've got the secret of, where we now win every league game. If that happens, then all that has to happen is that Arsenal have to draw somewhere. That is all. Assuming that we keep the goal difference advantage — which cannot be assumed, in fact.
And the more I look at their run-in, the more it looks quite tricky to me.
Ten more games to play, they've got nine. It's possible. It's a ding-dong battle. If they go to Anfield and St James's Park and win, then you've got to just hold your hands up and say, well done, you're worthy champions. There are no mistakes, no unworthy winners in the PL. It's thirty-eight matches, the best team over nine months wins.

Yeah because we have never got beat at home to a team we would expect to beat.

I think yesterday was real proof that we are back to our best, yes our fixture list is tough, but if any team is capable of doing it, it's us. We probably need to win all our league games, but based on what we have seen in the last few weeks we are more than capable. It's going to be a very exciting run in that's for sure.

They have to go to St James’s Park and get something. I’ll tell you I’d love it, love it if Newcastle beat them.
