It’ll be lower this year due to the World Cup and the crazy schedule, there’s going to be both shock results and a lot of the top teams taking points off each other throughout I think.

I'm seeing too many write Arsenal off already. Leicester's title should be a warning, but also our win in 2012. We had finished 3rd the year before, 8 points behind on 71 points. In order to win we had to improve by 18pts and match United with all their title winning experience. At the time the perceived wisdom was that we weren't quite ready, that this would be good experience for a proper challenge the following year.

And the big difference is the World Cup - we really don't know how teams will react to that break and having to start again. It will feel like a new start to season and we have sometimes made slow starts to a season - in contrast to most seasons where free of Champions League over the winter we have put together a run that has proved decisive in the league.

Our games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham will be crucial. At the moment we have only played Newcastle from the Top 5 and we nearly came unstuck. Long long way to go in this season.

Not to write Arsenal off, but it will be a remarkable season for them to get 80 points. They’re an injury to 1 or 2 key players from very average. The step down from their first 11 is huge.

What about them?

Surviving on fumes and gone above 90pts once in their entire history?

The signs of fatigue are there.

For me, Newcastle are a greater threat, in terms of momentum and not having many away at the World Cup.

Can see them finishing top three at this rate.

Think people are getting a bit too carried away, due to the postponements against spurs and arsenal we have had the easiest set of fixtures. Still a lot of work to be done and nobody knows how key players will be after the World Cup

Easiest set of fixtures?

People underestimate playing Newcastle away, a very good Brighton team, Liverpool away, United at home, West Ham away on the opening day.

What we can say is that we have navigated them in tandem with topping our Champions League group.

When you also factor Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, having to play a batch of London derbies still, we have a lot to be confident about.

I was going to say similar.

We may have had it easier with the top 6 but those 3 will probably have top half finishes. In Newcastles case they may finish above a couple of the top 6.

It hurts me to say but I feel the rags will come runner's up to us.
Now that the Dippers are so far behind the media will drop them to start bum rimming the rags.
The Premier league needs one of them to push us to sell their product.
Anyway I couldn't give a fu?k as long as we win it

Even Palace at home, we know what a bogey side they can be for us.

The beauty of this season is there are lower placed teams who can and will take points off the so-called established elite.

Fulham next weekend is a tough assignment, having a decent season so far and play the way we don't like.

I expect Arsenal to be back on top later today, but us to have an advantage going into the World Cup.

On our current trajectory we will amass around 90 points , none of the chasing teams are capable of that figure , The Goons have had a cracking start but everyone is just waiting for the first sign of the pressure getting to them.
We are a machine and we find ways to win games , the likes of Spurs , Rags , Newcastle , Chelsea could be difficult opponents on their day but not a threat in a 38 game season.
Five league titles in six years would be a phenomenal achievement but unfortunaltely we will not get he plaudits from the media , Oil Money and State Owned will rise to the surface.
It was OK when the Rags and Dippers dominated league titles when they also went out and cherry picked competitors players , paid huge fees and wages , they were lauded for their achievements.
But their money was organic and our finances are dirty inhuman rights money , maybe football wasnt so politicized back in the day , and the certianly haters on sociial media were non-existent , we will just have to put up with the greatest football ever seen in this country.
