I'm assuming we will drop points somewhere and it's as much in Arsenal's hands as ours. They are still in the better position as we have one more game than them we need to win. Arsenal have impressed with how they get over poor results. City can go through the rest of the season winning games but we have no room to make a mistake. Let's goooooo
Arsenal have City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton still to play.
City have Arsenal and Chelsea still to play.

It's 4-to-1 in terms of challenging matches left for both clubs in favor of us.

We almost certainly must win versus Arsenal - but it's a home fixture. I think we're favorites to win that match.

Should the season end in a points tie, we are in a far better position than Arsenal as our goal difference is already higher than Arsenal's and our run-in is easier.

Bettors now favor us over Arsenal to win the title.

Bottom line - I think we're favorite to win - it's likely down to the home match versus Arsenal which will be difficult as we probably need to win - whereas a tie would favor Arsenal.

I did tell you guys before that arsenal are farmers. They farm against lower teams but they cannot turn up in big games

Agreed - our run in is (slightly) easier, and the game against Arsenal at the Etihad will clearly be pivotal. And I make us favourites to win that game!

That said, there can be a lot of strange and unpredictable results at this point in the season, with new managers coming in and teams at the bottom fighting relegation.

You also can’t include Brighton for them, and not for us.

Our away games at Brighton and Brentford will be tough, and for me are way more of a concern than the Chelsea game.

To me only Grealish, Ake and Rodri have been consistently bothered about the league. The likes of De Bruyne had their fill and focused on CL, possibly the manager too. I was concerned about how thin the squad was at the start of the season and since then Pep has binned off Canelo and frozen out LaPorte/Walker. At some point we'll be relying on Lewis, Gomez, Palmer in a must win league match, unfair to expect those boys to carry us home.

I feel it would be a bit of a travesty for us to steal it at this point from a young and hungry Arsenal side. More interested in FA cup, we've underperformed badly there for years and can't allow United win it. Would be a fine upshot from a season we've mostly been spinning our wheels.

You omitted the trip to Brighton for us, which won't be easy. And the trip to Everton, who might be scrapping for survival by then.

Still a fuck up in both teams. And let's not forget PiGMOL. Look how Arsenal were treated by Tierney at Klanfield compared to us.

There's also the Footballing version of an October surprise of injuries to key players.

I still think it's Arsenals but I'm only using the PL new winners rule of every 7 years fix as my argument.

I've seen some very shit posts on here at times, but this is up there with the best of them!

Yeah, I'd rather be in Arsenal's position than ours at the moment. Points in the bag are preferable to games in hand. And if the situation was an exact mirror image of the current one, I'd be confident of City going to the Emirates and avoiding defeat. Yes; it's in our hands. But it's also in Arsenal's.
