Looking at that we would need to get mauled by lions, shit on by seagulls and stung by bees to come anywhere near failing to win the title.

Let's get it over with against Chelsea and then introduce some fringe players into the last 2 games.
Quite probably. We'll be accused of throwing it to let Brighton catch the dippers...
which would be true ;-)
Scousers steal the metal.
Whereas we steel the mettle!
GDM is your man for this.Just looked that up, since it's a phrase I've been using all my life without really thinking about where it comes from (i.e. to be on your mettle). My Penguin English Dictionary claims that “mettle” is simply a variant of “metal”. I reckon their lexicographers are wrong on that. The Oxford English Dictionary would know.
Quite probably.
However, I will ask you this question.
With the league already won do you not think that a little bit of the edge would have been chamfered off some of the regular starters, whereas a couple of young hungry lions with a point to prove may perform close to the level of those regulars?
Whatever the case, it will be Pep's decision and I'm happy with that.

I’ve heard him called a few things on here, but never a dandy ; )GDM is the dandy of Bluemoon, so not entirely sound…

More Oliver Reed.I think of him as the Oscar Wilde of the forum.
You are quite right about Pep, no shirking under him, ever. Not sure about the first part — Pep is virtually military with his players, anyone not pulling their weight even in dead rubbers gets hooked — but definitely agree with the second part. Wouldn't mind seeing young Cole get another chance, actually. The kid's got skill, no question. His attitude can be developed, I believe. He's still very young.
Pissed and barely coherent?I think of him as the Oscar Wilde of the forum.

No. Stay off the pitch, you selfish bastards. Some of the best scenes from football are when people are on the pitch after their team have won the league and yet youve got some fannys on here having panic attacks at the very thought.
No. Stay off the pitch, you selfish bastards.
The players hate it and the club hates it. We got slapped with a £260,000 fine and warned about our future conduct by the FA for what happened last year. It is not your right or anyone else's to just bolt onto the pitch to satisfy your ego and your social media followers. Why is this so difficult to understand?
We are potentially one incident away from a far more serious punishment.
I don't know how people cannot see how thousands of people running on to mob Erling Haaland might present a risk to Erling Haaland.

And we also suffered more from the mid-season World Cup as we had the most players at the tournament.Consider also that whatever we achieve this season will have been achieved during a reset where we’ve brought in a dedicated striker and altered the way we play to accommodate that.
Now imagine how good we could be next season when the squad’s more settled into the new way of doing it.
Mmmmmm doesn’t that thought feel good eh?
