For me we just need the Champions League this year and this team just has to be classed as the best ever.

They were calling Liverpool the best ever a few years ago when they won the league and a single trophy. Meanwhile we have 4 titles in 5 seasons....

Any treble should have a league title win in it for validation, we won the lot, if you discount the charity wotsit, it was a genuine treble that had never been achieved before, it was no Mourinho three fingered plastic treble or dipper cup treble. Would put things into perspective if we did go on and do it, for a start it would overshadow the rags & would highlight the scousers two good seasons in a don’t know how many

As it stands, all last night means is that we can afford to fuck up and lose 1 game (or draw 2) in our remaining 7.
Going and winning 6 out of 7 games is a tough challenge for any team so you're right.

The more important element of last night is the psychological blow to Arsenal. I think it's very unlikely that they'll win their next 5, which would make our lives significantly easier. If they lose one more game, it really would be a huge shock for us to lose it from here.

Exactly. Need to win the next three as I have a feeling Arsenal will win neither of the two games against Chelsea H and Newcastle A in the same period.

Why be calm, enjoy it, celebrate it. Makes no difference to the teams focus.

I've watched City fans on this forum ruin their own title run-ins, even when we were cruising and had points to burn, because they didn't want to be seen as celebrating too early.

Like obviously, take one game at a time, nothing is won, and if we lose against Fulham on Saturday then we are back to squeaky bum time, but I think this side in this form has earned a bit of respect as well.
 
We’ve just won something like 13/14 we are in the groove.last night was a big win.However ,every one of our potential 10 games left will be massive and a potential final.The club and players will be well aware and focused.
It would be nice,if we win the next three league games and Arsenal slip (box the league off early ) allowing us to focus on the Madrid semi finals
An exciting few weeks ahead .Our levels at this moment in time are immense.
