One game at a time of course, but the next 3 games give us an excellent chance. Arsenal's next three are tricky and winning ours can put us in great shape and give us a bit of room to manoeuvre going into the last four which will be very difficult with a CL semi final sandwiched in there.

They can get 90pts. I think they'll get 86.

We need 17/21pts to win the title. Win our next three and it becomes 8/12 which gives us enough breathing room I think. And that's based on Arsenal winning all of their games.
We need maximum 17 if Arsenal win every game.

Well said Kaz.

Kyle Walker was asked if beating Fulham means we win the league and he answered he thinks beating them is pretty much "job done".
I think Pep should have a word with him because beati them is definitely not job done, and if we do beat Fulham we still have another 6 league games to play.

We cannot afford to lose focus at any time, especially if we want to win the treble, and winning that is 11 games away. Every game supercedes the last game for importance at this stage of the season so it's one game at a time, as Pep has said, and rightly so.

Agree with this.

Without wishing to put a downer on anything or pretend that this City side isn't far superior to the following teams I'm going to mention, we need to be 100% at it in all of our games or else this could go pear shaped again quickly.

Think of the rags in 2012, after our draw at Stoke or defeat to Arsenal or Swansea - can't remember which one came last actually now - 8 points clear with a few games left and it looked absolutely done for them in their position. Of course they still had us at our place to play but real slip ups at Wigan and then Everton allowed us back into it perhaps very unexpectedly.

Likewise 2 years later, losing a "decider" at Anfield and following it up with a home draw against Sunderland - we were deemed out of the race by many.

That's where Arsenal are now. It's up to us to cement it and not give them a sniff of a second opportunity. Hopefully Newcastle or the likes can make our job a bit easier along the way but we can't rely on that, only ourselves making sure we get maximum points from Fulham, Everton, Leeds, West Ham - then reassess where we are.

I got as this win means nothing if we don’t win against Fulham! A lot people a misinterpreted what Walker said! Walker been around long enough that winning at Fulham taking us 1 point in front with a game in hand does not mean it’s over! We would still have 6 games left and Arsenal 5..

People are ( I think ) mis-interpreting what Kyle Walker said. From my perspective I understood him to be referencing the Fulham game and having to take 3 points, otherwise it was pointless beating Arsenal. He was referring to one game being ‘job done’, rather than that the premier league title would be done and dusted.

Calm down, nothing is won yet , one game at a time , go out to win every one , none of this we can drop points here and there etc

In our hands but last night will be wasted if the lads are not focussed
Yep. The dippers thought they’d won the league when they beat us in the 13/14 run in but soon we were all singing Edin Dzeko.
