Plus Ten Points to Griffindor!Au contraire!
Arsenal’s 6 goals were more than just 3 points, they were a record and they’re not going to bottle it this year!
And, who could ignore the fact that all 3 of Liverpool’s strikers scored against….err, Burnley…and none of them were called Mo! That’s worth waaay more than 3 points!
Plus, United came back, yet again, to win a game by 1 goal! Can’t you just feel the momentum shift that has created? It’s “seismic!”
Oh wait, looking at the table, it appears the gushing clickbait “journalists” might have made a mistake, unless the Premier League did so by only awarding them 3 pts!
Forest beat them last yearYeah, fair enough, I didn't really take full account of the easiness of their fixtures. Luton and Forest I'd expect to be bankers. Brentford are a funny team, though, aren't they, blowing hot and cold. They might be able to bother them at their place.
Annoyed, though, with all those points stupidly thrown away in draws. Four of them. Eight points just down the drain. In every single one of them we were the better team.
2013-14.Can't actually remember the last 3 team title fight, 3 usually becomes 2 so should be interesting.
Yep, that's the most recent one and the only three horse race we've been involved in.2013-14.
Chelsea were there or thereabouts with ourselves and the dippers until very late in the season and the 'Gerrard's slip' game put them right into the mix with a couple of weeks left. Then they inexplicably only drew at home against relegated Norwich and our win against Villa in the last midweek of the season meant they could no longer mathematically win the title. Had they won that Norwich game, they could still have been champions going into the final day though they would have needed the unlikely scenario of away wins at both the Etihad and Anfield.
