Is that for the relegation battleNeed to keep an eye out for the rags. Their new era starts next week.
You could have made that exact same post every January 1st for the last five years. It usually works out ok ;-)It’s going to take a long winning run for us to win it I still think
Looking at the dippers fixtures, there aren’t too many that jump out as games they’ll drop points in

40pts in the bag mate - we're staying up at least.I know
You’d think I’d learn to not be worried every year at this stage
Level on points with Arsenal and only 2 points behind Liverpool.
I'll take that considering how up and down our form has been.
You would have said that about away to Luton and especially Home to the scumYou could have made that exact same post every January 1st for the last five years. It usually works out ok ;-)
We live in hope mate we live in hope.Is that for the relegation battle
Two weeks back you probably saw rather a lot of this image. Safe to say there was a fair bit of panic about the stat.

Well here's how each season under Pep ranks after 19 games.
UNDER GUARDIOLA POINTS POSITION POINTS OFF 1ST END POSITION (Pts) 2016-17 39 5th 10 3rd (78) 2017-18 55 1st -N/A- 1st (100) 2018-19 44 3rd 7 1st (98) 2019-20 38 3rd 14 2nd (81) 2020-21 41 1st -N/A 1st (86) 2021-22 47 1st -N/A- 1st (93) 2022-23 39 2nd 5 1st (89) 2023-24 40 3rd 2 ??
And Spurs, Chavs and Dippers - the one that annoys me most as we had perfectly good goal chalked off ...That fucking Crystal Palace draw!
I don't see the Dippers dropping any points at all. They annoy me, like a pungent smell that never disappears.Despite generally being confident that City will use the winter to put together a run of wins and in doing so increase the pressure on everyone else - there is still a bit of me that knows we cant get away with it every year. At some point we will not be good enough to maintain the standards we have become used to and someone else will take advantage. So, I'm wary of the over confidence that seems to be creeping on here - just because we have done it before doesn't mean that we can do it again. Yet, this is a wonderful group of players - even though some are learning Pep's ways, and some are even learning the ways of the Premier League - I can see enough to suggest they can put a good run together - will it be enough, I don't know - but as ever it will be fun & interesting to watch!
I think much of what you say is fair comment and past performance is certainly no guarantee of future success, but I think what many were baffled by, and thought was grossly unfair, myself included, is the way that some of our supporters were willing to completely write off our chances this season, in turn ignoring our previous track record altogether, like it counted for absolutely nothing, which imo is far worse as a football supporte, than placing too much faith in it.Despite generally being confident that City will use the winter to put together a run of wins and in doing so increase the pressure on everyone else - there is still a bit of me that knows we cant get away with it every year. You think they will win all their remaining 19 games?I don't see the Dippers dropping any points at all. They annoy me, like a pungent smell that never disappears.
Dropped 4 out of their last 9, but don't let that get in the way of hitting the panic button. You think they will win all their remaining 19 games?
The problem is that when people use threads like this as a coping mechanism it stifles genuine and serious debate around the topic.Dropped 4 out of their last 9, but don't let that get in the way of hitting the panic button.
