Don’t we all play Spurs ? Just checked, we play em first, we win that and it puts massive pressure on the other two plus Spurs
If we get to fa cup semi final that game is pushed back, they both could’ve played Spurs before we do, the deeper we all go in all comps the swtt it as comes into it, Liverpool have not crumbled despite their injuries, if Arsenal pick up some to key players that could be telling.

Mourinho's 2nd chelsea were in the race for a while in 2014 were they not?

Yes, somebody already put me right about that.

Looking back at the results to refresh my memory, they lost at home to Sunderland the week before the Demba Ba game, which more or less finished them off.

The win at Anfield gave them a bit of renewed hope but they drew the next one at home to Norwich and that was that.

I haven’t followed this thread at all so apologies if already discussed.

But I was thinking earlier that I can not ever remember a genuine three horse race for the title. Not necessarily one that goes to the very last game. But one with all three in with a serious shout, right up until at least the last two or three games.

I go back to the mid/late 70s and can’t remember one.

Anyone recall one?
1971/72 season 1st division final table

1 Derby County 58 pts
2 Leeds United 57 pts
3 Liverpool 57 pts
4 Manchester City 57 pts

We need to build this Arsenal game, it’s potentially a season defining game, and it needs to be an absolute bear pit. There’s a lot of time between now & then, and I’d like the club & supporter groups to really push it. Last season we bullied them on & off the pitch, we were angry, and we need some of that for this game
BEDLAM.....its our duty !!

" We'll fight to the end,
We'll fight to the end,
We are the Champions,
We'll fight to the end "

30 Points to play for, KTF !!

I don't care too much about performances because it's about results. I wouldn't usually put our chances down to one game, and certainly results at Anfield have never impacted where the title goes, but I feel we simply have to beat Arsenal to win the title. Any other result and I think it's over. A big win would also help goal difference, which doesn't look like it's going to improve much for us and is looking potentially critical.

March and early April stood out as tough. Get through this with things the same, and then it's down to those last 6 games.

We should beat Arsenal and hopefully Liverpool will drop points at United in early April (I know United are not particularly strong, but a Liverpool win is not a given).
