I'd hazard a guess that this could well be injuriesI was looking at the Opta analyst model this morning ….Interestingly enough the model thinks Arsenal is going to regress YoY. In fact the model expects us to get 90 points and Arsenal only to get 79. There must be something in Arsenal’s stats from last year that the model feels isn’t sustainable. I thought that was interesting.
Yeah it could be that…Did Arsenal lose any of their key players last year for an extended period? I can’t remember them losing any.I'd hazard a guess that this could well be injuries
Our luck can't surely be as bad as last season, and theirs can't surely be as good
It reminds me a lot of the excitement around a new Dr who in the 70s and 80s. I'd be interested to see how it compares to how those bonkers cults in the states deal with a change at the top. The 'god hates fags' Christian ones must be due a change as he was getting on.The media have declared the new king of Klanfield the winner. We should accept that with good grace and move on.
Think of it as an extended break for the lad before we hit the business end of the season and his return gives us a massive boost.Savinho has been great, but I'd feel quite a bit more confident if we didn't lose Bobb. Ugh.
Not that I can recall, certainly not the likes or Saka, Rice, Odegaard etcYeah it could be that…Did Arsenal lose any of their key players last year for an extended period? I can’t remember them losing any.
I’d like to see Spurs and Chavs take points off Arse. They handed them 6 points each last season.Could be... and they are probably the team I would fear most.. we shall see.
Whatever will be enough to beat 2nd place. Is the poll to predict how many points the champions will finish on or how many points will be one more than the second place team?
It’s usually the latter and that’s what I’ve based my vote on but just wanted it clarifying.
They will.Still can’t see Liverpool dropping points
You think they'll get 114 points - OK.Still can’t see Liverpool dropping points
It could go any way this year. Arsenal are going to go one better so we need to as well. I think the league generally will be poorer compared to us both so there will be a lot of points to be had.
This is perhaps where Pep is going to earn his money. The squad is looking a bit thinner and some are a year older, his most underrated talent has always been reinventing positions and players.
so 38 wins ? wow what do they have this season compared to last 100 years or so ?Still can’t see Liverpool dropping points
Game at Bridge was a draw. Chelsea led 2-0 and it finished 2-2I’d like to see Spurs and Chavs take points off Arse. They handed them 6 points each last season.
Evening, Jorginho. You may be right but the reason Arsenal are so good is Jorginho. He keeps things ticking in midfield for them and he's scary good on pens. It's kinda like Rodri is for us.
Like the saying goes.. goals win games but defense wins titles and a good DM is key.
If he has a good season.. they could be better than last year.
They will at the rags next weekendStill can’t see Liverpool dropping points
