I still can't see where Arsenal are squeezing an extra five points out of the season. Just can't see them 90+. They're very good, would be worthy winners in any season till Pep turned up in England, but without doing 90+ you're hoping we drop off.

If we can beat them next weekend, that'll be a five point lead (effectively 6 with the GD). Which will be a handy start. But that's all it'll be; a start. The jelly and ice cream won't be getting consumed just yet. We've come back from further adrift than that.

Here we go again, setting this up as usual. Not for one second calling it a title race right now, more just a place for discussion as usual.

Looking like it'll be a battle between us and Arsenal, with Liverpool an outside shot, although I expect they'll fall away.

Both us and Arsenal have had comfortable home wins and good away results.

I have a feeling this could be a bit like 2019/20 where we can't afford a slow start, so far, so good.
