Oh my bloody god !!! Your going to be amazing on ITV 4 next season

Thanks - I was looking forward to seeing City too on ITV 4 last season but they never made it that far.
you are on a City board taking the piss out of City to a West Ham fan?

perhaps you've over stayed your welcome?

In which case, what on Earth is a Hammers fan giving stick about Europe for?

The last time West Ham won anything in Europe colour television hadn't been invented yet.

Interesting that no other reliable news outlet has picked up this accepted bid...are you indykalia on disguise!!?

Well so far I've been right about Paulinho, Chadli, Soldado and Capoue.

On the other hand, I was wrong about David Villa, although he did actually agree terms with Spurs.

There's also an offer to AS Roma pending for Erik Lamela & Miralem Pjanic.

Bale has basically gone hasn't he...all this cash you're spending

that would have been a much better riposte than taking the unwarranted piss out of the club who's board this is

Just a bit of friendly banter.

Now that you mention it, it does seem rather odd for a Hammer to take the piss out of Spurs on a Manchester City Forum.

Anyway, here's the latest from Rome...

...That's over 40 million quid in real money.

He's alright really, like most spurs fans he just gets carried away and delusion takes over, they have won the league cup in the past decade so we should all fear spurs next season without there best player.

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14

Don't turn into one of them on kumb mark, the spurs obsession got so bad the mods started closing tottenham threads a while back!! What are the odds for the hammers making Europe? Probably the best squad since harry was gaffer. Maybe worth a couple of quid bet

Hate to say but it is an obsession - I will watch every spurs game next year praying for you to lose , I also have too many good spurs mates. Yep your right about our squad - really think we can push on from our top half finish last season a lot depends of Carrolls fitness tho.

I'm hearing that Spurs have had an offer accepted for Willian (Borges da Silva).

No other details as yet.

If true (and granted, it's a bloody big if, it would be a fantastic signing for us).

Oh my bloody god !!! Your going to be amazing on ITV 4 next season

This twat is getting far too cocky - over stayed his welcome for me. One off banter ok but he's chipping away all the time.

Anyway the reports are that Bale comes in for training, then disappears - he obviously wants to move to a club who win things.

Because the fact is (and graphs about net spend don't hide this) that since Levy arrived Spurs have spent the best part of £600m (transfer market de) in an attempt to build a successful team and have won a league cup. How many times have they even been top 3?

Net spend is bollocks, it's mainly the result of selling on failed transfers in the first place.

Since the Premier League Era began, Spurs have spent a total of £547,406,000 on new players.

During the same period, Spurs have received £380,696,180 for players sold-on.

This gives a total net spend of £166,709,820 for the 22 seasons of the competition - an average of £7,577,719 per season.

The cost of Tottenham's current squad to assemble was £171,680,000.

This means that Spurs have actually made a slight profit from player trading during the Premier League Era.

you're using a cheating method of saying that you'd get that £171m back for all the players you've signed, and if you did then yes you'd make a profit but you wouldn't have a squad so it's a stupid comment.

even if we take the above to be a fair assessment, which it patently isn't - £550m on a team thats won 1 league cup and been in the top 4 how many times?

£200m on a squad who's only goal appears to be to finish above arsenal?

there's been a lot of wasted millions in the prem era but £ for £ spurs have got to have had the worst return on investment of all

there's already one a few pages earlier mate
the problem is, like SWP says, its full of inaccuracies as it only contains the 'facts' the compiler feels fits his stance

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14

The guy is using the age old tactic of the consumate bore of spouting that many figures and facts that anyone with a life loses the will to live never mind debate and because people dont argue back because he has bored them into remission in his tiny little mind he must be right
